YOU'RE GONNA MISS THIS MOMENT

I was debating whether or not to use this meme or This Sings My Soul Saturday. I guess it could go under both, but I started thinking that I'm going to miss this moment when my kids want to "perform" for us. I mean, we hear them sing and play instruments all the time, but I guess seeing them come together, and doing this on their own for "us", at home as a family, it just melts my heart. My oldest daughter and Eli (on the far left) sang these songs with the choir for our Children's Tea at church. My two younger ones know it because they listened to them practice these songs at home all the time. So, about a week after the tea, they decided they wanted to do their own concert for us! They even put the clothes on that they wore at the tea (except my oldest daughter). It was so cute! My oldest son was part of the "audience", so that's where he was at.

That was terrific, you must be so proud.. What wonderful voices. I bet you have a karoke machine( I can never spell that word) that is a Filipino thing....we enjoy it so much when we visit my in laws.
It is amazing when kids open up their mouths what beautiful voices they have and how God must smile when He hears them.

Only a fantastic mom would post a five minute video!! ;-) I watched every minute of it...

Your daughter reminds me of my own: becoming self-conscious but still young enough to take center stage with ease. Your boys crack me up; they must be a load of fun. And, your baby is just simply sugar-sweet.

Way to go, Alicia! You will miss these moments. I try to remind myself the same when the bathroom's a wreck or half the laundry in their hamper IS STILL FOLDED. One day my entire house will be in the perfect order I think I want now, and I will hate it.

Oh! and my sister-in-law is Filipino, too, as is the husband of those Brazen Husseys. I LOVE me some Adobo!! ;-D

I loved that! There's something extra special about children's voices. I love the children's choir at church and the special Christmas Eve children's service.
