HERNIA SCHMERNIA!

My husband had his hernia surgery this morning! I'm so glad he finally got it done because it bothered him alot. I still don't understand how he was able to be so active before he had this done. Anywho, the surgery went well (thank you Lord), and he will be on disability for ONE MONTH! I think it's going to be hard for him to sit back and relax, and I know it's going to be a challenge (for us) with him being home everyday, during school! My kids are going to think they're on vacation because daddy's home! So, pray for us, because it will be an adjustment all around..LOL!
Pre-op! LOL

Glad that all went well. Surgery is so scary, no matter how small it may be! Hoping the recovery is as smooth as the operation was. Take care of you and him my friend!

I'm glad everything went well. I was wondering how he could be so smiley but then you said that was pre-op. That explains it! I hope healing goes quickly for him.

Glad he got it fixed, I'll pray that recovery will be easy and that will follow the docs orders! My husband has been through that and thinks he might have another! Have fun with him home, don't expect to get as much done ;)! Just enjoy all that Daddy time! My husband was laid off last year for 3 months while we were homeschooling and I was pregnant, it was crazy!
Oh and since I'm actually able to leave you a comment I wanted to let you know that I've not been over here as much because when I click on your blog my internet often 'times' out and I have to reset it. Something with my wireless, it happens periodically but more often with your blog, must be all your great pictures =)!

I am glad that he is o.k. The year my husband was off work we did have to adjust to him being home. But it went pretty well.

Glad everything went well!

I'm sure it will be a big adjustment having him around but at least it's fodder for the blog, right!

I'm so glad it went well.

Greg had hernia surgery years ago. I remember lots of laying on the couch and watching movies.

Enjoy having him home!
