MAKING YOUR HOME SING MONDAY

I am linking up with my friend, Mom's The Word to participate in her Monday meme, "Making Your Home Sing Monday." It's a day when we share what we are doing to bless our families in our home. If you would like to join in, click here.

My kids thoroughly enjoyed Day Camp last week at our church! It was a long day, no doubt. 9-3 for a homeschooler is a long day!!! But, they had tons of fun, and church is literally like our second home anyway!

ART was the theme for last week's camp, and this week's theme is Cooking and Drama! Well, Eli told me he doesn't want to do it because he did the cooking last year. Well, with more pressing, he also said he doesn't want to wake up early again..LOL! Of course, Daniel wants to do EVERYTHING Eli does, so he doesn't want to go either. Miranda liked helping last week, and Veronica wants to go to camp, so I will be dropping off the girls' every morning.

This week, I will dedicate my time to the boys, and I'm excited about that! Of course, Isaiah is included with that too! I'm not sure what we'll be doing, but I'm sure whatever it is, it will be fun! My home will sing because everyone is where they want to be!

You're such a good Mom. Maybe you can take them camping (oh, I didn't say that - lol)! I'm sure you and the guys will find all sorts of neat things to do this week.

Have fun!

A happy home...that's always so nice!

I have to say...you're nicer than I probably would have been...I probably would have said that they had to go because they already started it but now I'll strive to be nicer like you are :)

As a homeschooling mom, I know you don't get to spend lots of time with just your boys,so what a good opportunity you have this week. Have fun!

Yeah, I have one who likes to stay home too, loll!

I hope you all have a good week. Maybe the boy will get tired of staying home and want to go back, who knows?

Either way, it sounds like you will all have a fun "singing" week. Thank you for joining us!

Delighted to meet you! Just found your blog via a friend and I'm glad I stopped by. I hope you don't mind, but I'm going to splash around a bit here. I loved your Father's Day tribute and now, you've got met thinking of how I can make my home sing.

Hugs from this missionary mommy,
Sarah Dawn

PS I'm going to follow along so I can get splashed by you more often

In answer to your question on my blog: Yes, my husband got very emotional when our daughters were married. He couldn't even smile during the ceremonies because he thought he would break down. It was hard for him to give his girls away even though we love our new "sons."
