MAKING YOUR HOME SING MONDAY

I am linking up with my friend,Mom's The Word to participate in her Monday meme, "Making Your Home Sing Monday." It's a day when we share what we are doing to bless our families in our home. If you would like to join in, click here.

This week is definitely going to be a challenge! Not just for me, but for my kids as well!

Our church starts VBS this week which means no staying up late for my kids since they have to be up early in the morning!

Miranda, my eldest daughter, is going to be in the play that they are having all week, so instead of us being there at 9am, she has to be there at 8 for practice...everyday!

That means, everyone has to be up by 6:30 to take showers (and hopefully eat). Now, if you know my kids, they're barely up at 8am, sometimes 9, so you can imagine how our mornings are going to be!

The way I'm going to make my home sing this week is by making sure that:

1. They get to bed at a decent hour.
2. They already know what they're wearing the next day.
3. They eat a little something before we go.

And Lord willing, we will run like a well oiled machine!!

So, if you get a moment...pray for us!! :)

Good luck getting the group ready for the day:-) I usually start the day around 5 and get everyone else going around 7. That way, we have plenty of time to get everything done that we want to do. Huh, no wonder I am always tired:-)

our church has VBS at night, but I was wondering did you consider showers at night one less thing to do in the morning??? Also cook up a bunch of pancakes they heat up rather quickly in the oven and you can even wrap them around a sausage link or put a littl pb on them just like a sandwich. have a blast!!!

You are going to be SUPER busy this week! Our VBS was early in the summer...before we got out of the habit of getting up early from preschool! Now I am worried about school starting back in a few weeks because we aren't used to getting up and moving early right now either! Have fun at VBS this week!

I almost had a panic attack just thinking about waking the kids up at 6:30! Seriously, that would be hard week for me, too. I hope it goes well. I know you kids are going to have a blast!

Very smart! A successful, stress free morning really does start the night before!

It is nice when the kids are older and don't need help getting dressed, isn't it. However, that doesn't mean that they are organized, lol!

Thank you for linking up today!!!!
