YOU'RE GONNA MISS THIS MOMENT

I'm feeling a little melancholy these days, and I'm realizing that my "babies" will not be babies that much longer (although they will always be babies to me).

I have to admit that my youngest gets away with almost everything. Of course, she gets disciplined, but being the "baby" of the family does have it's privileges.

I love the fact that she still has to cuddle with me before she gets out of (my) bed, and that she loves me to help her brush her hair and brush her teeth.

There are some days when she wants to show how independent she can be, and I know she is able to "hold her own" when I'm not with her (like in Sunday school)..lol.

So, with her being our last child, I want to enjoy all her little girl quirks before she becomes too independent and doesn't need mommy to help her pick out her clothes and tie her shoes...

Such a beautiful photo! I know how you feel about no more babies! I was feeling broody last night but alas we are not to have anymore according to my hubby! I will just need to enjoy all those of my friends.

My baby gets away with a lot more things that the others did at her age. My sister keeps telling me... "if kayla had done that...." but now my two oldest get away with more too sooo....... :)

We've tried to warn the boys to get ready for it because Allie is going to get away with it all also. They keep saying it's not fair but I tell them life's not fair :)

I totally get this! Jacob is still in a little of this stage yet I know he's growing out of it quicker than I would like.

She is so sweet and cute. I am gonna miss all those things about Stunt Man too. Being the Baby does have its perks for sure...as he pats my arm to tie his cleats 3 hours before his game. Gotta run.

I love these post because I in the middle of babies and preschoolers and sometimes wish they'd all get older so it was not so demanding on me...but, then i read a post like this and I remember to cherish all those demands.

:-( It just goes by too fast. I can't even bear to think about the day when my son is too old to want kisses and hugs!

I know you're treasuring her "little" days while you have them!

Awww she is precious.

I am so struggling with this. want to hang on to my baby but don´t want him acting like a baby. Such a fine line. It wouldn´t be so bad if he wouldn´t whine.

I know the boys do not like me helping with anything but Zoe still lets me do some things.

And she also gets away with more...lol

I feel your pain. My baby is turning 9 tomorrow. This morning she crawled into bed with me and stuck her pudgy little hand in mine and I thought "I don't want this hand to ever get bigger."

Oh this post hit so close to home. Lately, that's all I feel. Like the kids are growing up way to fast. I want a "pause" button. : ) Hope you had a great weekend!

This is so sweet! I can relate... I baby our youngest (and get teased for it) but he's my baby, what can I say? :) I do wish all of my kids would slow down a bit... still can't believe my oldest are 8.

Love the picture, she's so adorable!
