TAG-I'M IT!

I discovered a new blog recently, and I have to say that it keeps me very amused! I love visiting "Mostly Grocery, Adventures Of A Grocery Clerk", and reading about the daily happenings of his life working at a grocery store. Now, I can't help but think of some of his stories when I'm at my local supermarket.

Well, he tagged me a few days ago, and I'm supposed to share 10 things about me that you don't already know! I bet you can't wait, right?

Okay, here I go...

1. One of my BIGGEST pet peeves is misspelled words and using punctuation incorrectly.

2. Both my parents are Filipino, but I cannot speak or understand the language.

3. My LEAST favorite thing to do is go to the mall.

4. I don't know how the "blog world" perceives me, but I talk fast, talk loud, and laugh even louder! That is why I use so many exclamation points. That is how I talk!! See!!?!

5. I do not like confrontation.

6. I used to be totally addicted to Ebay. I would buy the cutest custom clothing outfits for my youngest daughter, plus she had to have matching bows with every outfit. And she would never wear the same outfit twice. Here are a couple of my favorites!

If you notice that the bridge of her nose is bruised, it's because she tripped over a dog leash and bumped her face right into the side of the car.

I always loved the ruffles on the hem!!

7. My all time favorite show is Smallville!!

8. I love to do laundry. It's like a challenge to get to the bottom of the basket.

9. My other biggest pet peeve is vulgarity. Nothing makes my stomach cringe more when I hear someone say a cuss word, or use Gods name in vain.

10. And finally, sometimes I do wish we had cable, but then I know I would totally get sucked into all the reality shows that I used to love. I think I can do without MTV's "The Real World" or "Road Rules." Do they even have those shows anymore?

I would love to know more about you, so if you want to participate, consider yourself tagged!

Great post! I learned so much about you. Finally somebody that understands all of my exclamation points!!! I can't live without cable! Maybe that's why my laundry basket is always full.... If you saw how much laundry I have piled up - it would be a challenge!

Well, on #1, you just let me know when I have misspellings and punctuation mistakes. I usually catch them but drives me crazy if I don't. Email me girl!!! Don't let my OCD go unchecked. ;)

I like your list. We have some in common.

Having a daughter is a perfect excuse to shop for sweet matching outfits and bows! She looks beautiful in those cute clothes you got her.

Psst, I'm not Filipino, but I speak Tagalog fluently. ;p

I just read #8 and I'm sorry, but I don't think we can be friends anymore. Laundry is my enemy. ;)

Wow, it sounds like you and I are a LOT alike, except my parents are from St. Louis. ☺ Can't wait to check out the grocery blog you found - my husband works in the grocery business in their main office (but was in the stores for years) and my son is a grocery clerk and my daughter is a checker. I'm sure I'll forward it to all of them!! Have a great day, Alicia ~ ♥

I'm so guilty of #1..hopefully, teaching the boys proper grammar will teach me too!! Ha.

Cable would suck me in and never let me go ;) We have limited....just the basic stations. I miss HGTV.

Fun to read more about you my friend. :) I'm totally with you on the Vulgarity! ugh. We don't have cable either, it's so refreshing, isn't it? :)

I think it's just precious that you love doing laundry...seriously, with 5 kids,no one would think you'd enjoy that! That's a REAL stay home Momma for ya! :)

That was fun! I hate when I make grammatical errors on my blog. The other day I used their instead of there and you wouldn't believe how fast I yanked down the post to fix the mistake. :)

I love doing laundry too (shhhhh, don't tell anyone). It's sick, right?! LOL!

I'm still addicted to Ebay LOL. We have cable but I hate reality shows with a passion. I also can not stand when people curse.
Laundry will be the death of me. I wish they made disposable clothes, I would so be on board with that!

Oops..I had better be careful of my misspellings and punctuations. Sometimes I get in such a hurry that I honestly don't care. ;-) For you my friend, I will try.

Fun list Alicia! I think I know the blog you are talking about..I will have to go check it out.

I'm filipino too but only understand it..can't speak, isn't that strange? I loved learning more about you. Yes, Real World and Road Rules still exist. Not that I watch them or anything ;)

Could you come do my laundry?

lol! you must hate my blog with the punctuation and spelling! :)

I need to adopt your challenge to an empty basket idea!!!

And I think it's funny that you consider ppl tagged, which I like, because I am still planning on playing along with your take a picture of your purse tag. I have pictures of old purses and since have gotten a new one that is my favorite ever and am planning to share all three pics! :)

Both my parents are half Hawaiian and half Filipino and I can't speak any Filipino to save my life. I can say that I do know that I am Ilocano though. lol

Hey Beautiful! I agree with your pet peeves. I can't STAND to hear someone use God's Name in vain. I also hate poor grammar (especially if I find it in my own posts - lol).

Your daughter looks so cute! I have purchased way too many outfits for my baby as well.

I enjoyed this post! It's so nice to learn more about you. Most of your pet peeves are the same as mine. =)
You have a beautiful family.

lol..ok, I better watch my spelling errors. Great post, Alicia:) my 5 yr. old is reading with me and likes your daughters outfits, she asked if I'm going to get one for her like that..lol. Your daughters are beautiful and take after both of you:)

The outfits are adorable and so is your daughter. I used to shop like that for Adrienne but once I had the third child it was hand me downs....

oooh...I want to play along.. give me a couple of days I'll have to think hard about this one. So funny cause I always told myself that if I had a girl I would learn how to sew... still learning but when I see the prices of outfits on etsy.. I am so thankful I learned, lol.. oh something not so funny if you didn't catch it already CJ decided to give herself a new do, yeah I'll let the post speak for itself!!!
