WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN ALL MY LIFE?

Meet my new "BFF."

My life just got so much simpler.

You exceeded any expectations I ever had.

We will accomplish so many things together. I just know it.

I have plans in store for me and you!

I love you.

Yes, I'm referring to the crock pot, and not the beef stew, although, the stew was yummy! My in-laws got me this for Christmas, and this was the first time for me to use one, EVER! Now I need recipes, and I'm so glad that I found hundreds of them online already! Do you have any favorites that you would like to share?

Now, that's what I'm talkin' bout!

That stew looks so yummy! I'm not a big crock pot user...mainly because I am too lazy to clean it up after the fact. I think I need one of those newer ones that come apart and can go in the dishwasher:)

Checkout the Crockpot lady's site at crockpot365.blogspot.com/

I'm not a huge Crockpot fan, but she's got some decent recipes.

Yummy Yummy that looks so good. Crock pots are the best, especially when you have a busy day and dinner will be done when you get home!

I am sure just about every woman's heart beats faster when she sees a crock-pot. Enjoy it...and all your spare time that it will give you.

Crock pots are awesome. Especially in the summer months when you don't want to heat up the kitchen!!

I LOVE LOVE my crock pot! Though my hubs has been using it more than I have the past couple weeks. And PLEASE share that recipe you had in there!

I adore my crockpot! I use it at least twice a week and sometimes for the entire week. It's very handy in the spring and summer when we are constantly on the go with sports.

Here's a recipe I use quite often

6 frozen boneless skinless chicken breast halves

2- 10 3/4 cans cream of chicken soup

1/2 c sliced mushrooms

3/4 tsp salt

1/4 tsp pepper

Place frozen chicken in crockpot
Mix together soup, mushrooms, salt and pepper. Pour over chicken.
Cover and cook on low 10-12 hours.

Serve over rice or mashed potatoes.

I love that you don't have to thaw out the chicken!

I love to cook in a crock pot.

How about some Fiesta Chicken? Frozen chicken breasts from a bag. Dump in crock pot. Pour jar of salsa (get creative with what kind) over chicken. Cook on low all day. Serve over rice. Top with Colby Jack cheese.

And, I have a stuffed pepper soup recipe for the crock pot, but I don't know it off the top of my head...will get back to you on that.

I have never been able to get into cooking in a crockpot! I have one from when I got married and it collects dust more than recipes. :)

I love my crockpot Alicia! Mine isn't quite as fancy as yours but it still works. It makes life easy if you remember to put in the ingredients early in the morning. I love the wonderful aroma of the food when you walk into the house.

blessings and good eating,
Debbie
