PERFECT PARK WEATHER

I'm amazed at all the pictures of snow that I see on so many blogs. I can't even imagine snow being out on our front lawn.

The weather here has been so beautiful lately, and I've been meaning to take my kids to the park since last week. So, off we went the other day. It was so nice to get out of the house in flip flops.

Before we went to the actual playground, they played here for awhile. Doesn't it look peaceful?

They were getting annoyed that I kept trying to make them stop for a picture.

At one point, they were all standing on the rocks, and I was just waiting for one of them to lose their balance! Thank goodness that didn't happen.

Brothers...

My fear was that they would fall in that nasty water!

it's nice to have pen and paper (or laptop) with you there and then write all the things running in your mind.

P.S. Re:my latest Shoot Me! post

I love that shot of your boys sitting together on the rocks. :)

That park looks so peaceful... It's almost flip-flop weather here, too, but for some weird reason, it's gotten cold again today! Ugh.

ohhh it makes me excited to go to the park here. we were teased with 60's a few weeks ago, but today it's supposed to be like 30's or something again. i love the pictures, and that looks like a great park and that you pretty much had it to yourselves!

Glad they stayed dry! I wish our weather would make up its mind and just stay sunny and warm.

Oh that looks soooo nice! I can't imagine wearing flipflops. My boys still have to wear snow pants and winter coats to school. =( They aren't allowed to go on the playground if they aren't wearing that stuff, school rules not mine. Well, I enjoy seeing your beautiful pictures! =)

Beautiful pictures. My brother did fall into nasty water one time while feeding the ducks. LOL Didn't even make a splash. We still laugh about it.

What a gorgeous park! And look at all that vibrant green. We've had snow here this week too, so I'm looking forward to seeing more weather like yours.

And thank goodness nobody fell in! (Though it would have made for good blog fodder.) ;)
