FUN IN THE SATURDAY SUN!

It was beautiful this weekend! The sun was warm, but there was a nice, cool breeze going on!

My friends planned a bbq at a park right in their condo complex, and it was such a fun time!

We were right by their pool, plus we had the entire grass area to ourselves! It was the perfect set up because we all played volleyball, the kids went swimming, and also rode their bikes around.

Oh my gosh, I have not played volleyball in YEARS, so I was dead beat tired by the time we got home (which was close to 9pm)!! In fact, we were so tired that none of us got up in time for church, so we had a nice, relaxing, Father's Day at home.

Can you just tell that the weather was gorgeous?

The kids swimming! There's my girl right in the middle! She swims so good now!

My two older kids on the right, and their buddies on the left! All the kids in the background are my kids and my friends kids, too!

Here are the younger ones getting ready to go back to the bbq to eat.

This was closer to the evening. The sun had already set. We just got done playing volleyball for an hour, and now it was the kids turn to play.

It was so funny because I thought one of my Cutco knives were thrown away by accident, and I was willing to let it go, but my friends said, "No, we need to find it!" So, here we are going through the TWO BIG black garbage bags that we used until my husband told me that he didn't even use it. It was still in his van!!!!!!! UGH!!

The weather looked amazing! It sure does look like everyone had a great time!

We had a good Father's Day as well. Although we didn't go to the park and cook out, we opted to stay home and enjoy each other's company.

My hubby & I have been busy with work lately that we were fine with just chillin at home.

It was not that warm in SF on Sunday but it sure was beautiful in San Jose! We went there to pick up food for Father's Day. It was absolutely beautiful..not overwhelmingly hot but comfortable hot with a warm breeze. Glad you guys had the beautiful weather in the South Bay :)

So fun!!!!! I bet you were tired by the time you got home. Seems the sun always just drains everything from you.

I love Cutco!!!! I don't have the entire set - but I can dream right :) I have the scissors, pizza cutter and paring knife and they are THE BEST!!!! My husband almost threw the pizza cutter away a couple of months ago and oh my - I almost went insane!

That looks like a beautiful, relaxing, fun-filled summer day. And I hear Ca. doesn't have the humidity we have hear on the east coast.

I had to laugh about the knife. That's something I would do!

The weather looks amazing...so much green! And it sounds like you had a super fun time! Glad that your knife was not lost, but bummer you had to look through the trash and it was still in the van! lol

So glad you got the book! Happy Reading!

Looks like such a fun day. I have not played volleyball in so long, not sure I would do a very good job.

Thanks for the giggle on the knife. We have Cutco knives so I know I would have been digging for it.
