FRIDAY PHOTO FLASHBACK

I started "Friday Photo Flashback" because I have so many pictures from my PRE-digital camera days. I thought it would be fun to scan them and share them here with you. I'm having so much fun doing this, that I would love for you to join me, too! So dig out the photo albums and put your scanner to good use! Don't forget to link up so we can all visit and comment on each others blogs!

When I look at this picture, I can almost assume what is happening at that moment. My sister is probably bossing me around, telling me what album to play. I can even tell by the expression on my face that I'm not sure what I should be doing! I wish I could recall what albums were in that rack! I also remember the big rug wall hanging of Jesus in our room. It was HUGE! We weren't even religious, but I'm sure my mom felt that we were safer with Him in our room. I also remember that toy cash register on the dresser. I LOVED playing with that! One thing we did have alot of were toys, and my parents bought us some really cool ones!!

I know I had that same record player with vinyl records. I cannot remember what color the record player was...I think it was red. I also remember the Disney book vinyl records. My favorite was Cinderella...and the song "Cinderelly".

Oh look, I had a record player too, but mine was red & white. I remember my mom bought Peter & the Wolf for me & it scared the hell out of me I just didn't like the music when they introduced the wolf. LOL I love the picture rug on the wall too. My grandmother use to decorate her home like that too, and who's that cute baby (as if I didn't know)!!!

This is a lovely picture as it is so natural and has captured such emotion on your face. The first record player we had was wound by hand,,with brittle records and metal needles you had to change after each record. If you didnt wind it up enough the music slowly ground to a halt. LOL. What a long way this all was from an i-pod! Thanks for sharing this.

haha! I love that you describe your photos. Especiallly that you noticed the expression on your face and the possibility of your sister "bossing" you around :o) I was the oldest, so I am sure I have caused that look of "should I? or shouldn't I?" to my little brother! (Now I wont claim that I caused that with my little sister, since I was already married and living away and out of state when she was born. ...haha but I am sure my brother "bossed" her around plenty!)

Blessings & Aloha!
(a little late, but I always link up to your previous FPF until I can get back and change the link to the current one.)
