I've been wanting to get contacts for a while now, too. I have the same grief about not being able to wear sunglasses. I wore contacts until I got married and then got lazy after my first child was born. :)
...I met my husband in 1988, and we have been married since 1996! We have been blessed with five wonderful children, and after 9 years of homeschooling them, they are now in an awesome, private Christian school. The best part is that I get to work there! It's amazing how the Lord has worked in our family, and this blog is just a way for me to share tidbits of our everyday, simple life!

Have you ever considered Lasik? My husband just had his and he and our friends who've done it swear that it's the greatest thing. :)
