I reconnected with a friend of mine who I've known since 2nd grade. We went to elementary, middle, and high school together. I was so excited catch up with her! She lives about two hours north from me, so the chances of her and I getting together for dinner or coffee are pretty slim. Fortunately, she still has friends and family that she sees in my area. Today was one of those days, so I finally got to see her again after 20+ years, plus meet her beautiful family! I felt like I already knew them since I see pictures of them all the time on Facebook! They were only able to stay for a couple of hours since they were on a their way to another get together with their other friends. It's neat because she is still the same as I remember her back then!!

ReplyDeleteSniff, sniff. How sweet. I miss my friends so much! I just moved to GA and I only have one friend here. People keep telling me to get on facebook, but I'm resisting because I already have too many other online obsessions.
