We had such an awesome day/night! It couldn't have been better! We had an early reservation at 3:30, so that gave us all plenty of time to do something afterward. We ate at The House Of Prime Rib and I can't emphasize enough on how delicious their prime rib is. In fact, this is all they serve because it is their specialty! Our first time there was about 10 years ago, and we love introducing this place to our friends. The dinner was excellent, and we were all FULL and done around 6'ish. We already had plans to hook up with our other friends who were already in San Francisco, so we got in touch with them and decided to meet at Ghiradelli Square for some dessert! Oh, it was yummy!! The line was out the door, but surprisingly all eleven of us were able to get seated right away! When we were done there, we all drove to Union Square to walk around. The weather was perfect! Too bad we got there too late because all the stores just closed! But, that was okay because it felt good just to walk after we stuffed our faces! We ended up getting home around eleven, and we were blessed because my mom was here to watch the kids for us! We missed the kids too!

Chocolate galore!
Yes, this is MY dessert! Fudge brownie sundae with two scoops of mint chocolate chip ice cream!! It was decadent!
I couldn't finish mine. It was really rich!
Our other good friends, Mariela & Perry. They are the ones we hooked up with after dinner! Love them!
So overall, it was a great night shared with our awesome friends! Oh gosh..lots and lots of laughs all night! What more could I ask for? I know we'll be talking about it at church tomorrow!

ReplyDeleteWhat a fun night! Mine was spent with my 2 sweet boys and another coach's wife and her kids (since our hubby's are in Vegas!) and we just hung out and then ate at Johnny Rockets! That dessert looks so yummy...I heart mint choc chip ice cream with hot fudge!!
