FRIDAY PHOTO FLASHBACK

I started "Friday Photo Flashback" because I have so many pictures from my PRE-digital camera days. I thought it would be fun to scan them and share them here with you. I'm having so much fun doing this, that I would love for you to join me, too! So dig out the photo albums and put your scanner to good use! This was the last job I had before I became a stay at home mom! I worked there for 6 years. I was a Customer Service Rep for a Credit Reporting Agency that dealt with mortgage lenders. It was an "okay" job. I did my job, I got paid, and such was life! Besides taking care of my "needs" I didn't have anyone else to worry about. That was the single life! I still keep in touch with a couple of my previous co-workers, and have found MANY of them on Facebook, including the three people in this picture!

Oh..funny story. The guy on the far left. His name is Chris. He and I were just friends, and he asked me to be his partner in a pool tournament at this country western bar he went to every week! So, I did, and we did pretty good! The gal next to me is Cindy, and in fact, I hope to see her this summer since she just moved back down to the Bay Area. On my left is Louis, and he wants to have a "reunion" with all the old First American crew!!

So, here we are, back in 1995! I still don't know why I took a camera to work! But, I'm glad I did!!

    What a fun bunch! It's amazing to look back on those single days, or childless times. There was so much more time for going out!

    O.k. first of all...I think every self respecting gal in the mid 90s had a flowing flowery dress that went to the ankles...o.k. I might still be wearing one on occasion...but atleast I wear newer shoes. I love this photo...is your friend wearing a skort? I've got to go so I can put my photo up.

    Have you ever seen the movie "Office Space"? The guy on the left reminds me of a younger version of the guy who created the Jump to Conclusions game. Of course, if you haven't seen the movie this comment makes absolutely no sense at all.

    Wow! You even carried your camera with you back then too?!?!? Oh girl, you really do like taking pictures, huh? You have officially put me to shame. lol!

    Facebook is pretty great about finding old friends. I have found there people that I had lost track off, and even some best friends from high school.

    Those are days to reflect on....single days...no responsibilities but our own.. I find when I take my camera to work to get some pics it is because I must like the people I work with and want to have a memory of them. Looks like you enjoyed that job. Very nice flashback photo Alicia, you looked terrific as a working single woman.

    Your dress brought back memories. I used to wear dresses like that with ked sneakers and bobby socks. Remember that look?

    Sometimes some jobs are just that way "OK", but its the people that make it worth staying. Looks like you had some good coworkers. Now you have a job that is the BEST and the coworkers are the BEST in the world.

    just love it! i played along this week too. after i scanned pictures all morning! the kids liked looking at them with me though, it was fun!!
