FRIDAY PHOTO FLASHBACK

I started "Friday Photo Flashback" because I have so many pictures from my PRE-digital camera days. I thought it would be fun to scan them and share them here with you. I'm having so much fun doing this, that I would love for you to join me, too! So dig out the photo albums and put your scanner to good use! Just sign in to Mr. Linky so we can all visit and comment on each others blogs!

I'm taking you back to Hawaii again! This was in 1994 when I went to go visit my sister!

Her and her roommates took me on a hike at this place called Sacred Falls. I remember that there was a sign before you started the hike that warned you of falling rocks! Oooookay! It was basically an avalanche warning!

Actually, since 1999, this park has been closed due to a tragic landslide. I just googled it, and if you're interested in seeing more pictures of this place and reading the story, click here.

I'm sure most of you have seen the show LOST. Well, it's kind of like walking through something like that! What it is is a 4 mile (back and forth) hike through the mountain, and at the end you come to a fresh water waterfall! Right in the middle of nowhere!

That's me on the left and my sister on the right! I remember there was a tour group walking back, and as we were walking past them, the tour guide said to them, "Let the Polynesian people go first." LOLOLOL!

When you finally reach the waterfall, you just can't wait to jump in! It's beautiful and kinda creepy at the same time! I watched one too many scary movies because all I could think of when I was swimming from the rocks to the waterfall was that some scary monster was going to pull me down!!! On the side of the waterfall, there were big rocks where you could sit down and relax. So awesome!

My sister and I again! I am on the left! And, no, we are not swimming in our birthday suits!

  19. At least you weren't wearing Keds like me in Puerto Rico. I bet you could have jumped out of the path of falling rocks in the shoes you were wearing. Kidding! Glad there were no accidents and no monster to take you under.

About Logan and Hannah, yes, we have talked about the what if's, but I have also teased Jodi that if Logan married one of her girls, he would be in big trouble financially. Those girls are carrying around Coach purses already. Lol...
