WORDLESS & WORDFUL WEDNESDAY

California weather is unpredictable.

The past couple of weeks have been scorching hot.

Last Saturday, our kids played soccer in 100 degree weather. There was no hint of fall in the air.

But, just a couple of days later, we're freezing our tails off at my son's soccer game.

My kids went from wearing shorts and t-shirts, to this...in just a matter of days.

  2. No kidding! At 6:00 this evening the wind came whipping up at my daughters field hockey game and all of a sudden we were freezing. Of course we won't tell all of the people in other parts of the country that we Californians think 65 is cold. :)

  40. I think is that way all along the West Coast. A few days ago we were experiencing an Indian Summer and now we're kicking on the heater and hoping the last of our gardens are frozen at night. Ah, well, it lasted longer than is typical, so I'll just stay grateful!
