PELE, HAMM, & BECKHAM...EAT YOUR HEART OUT

I wish I could take credit for these great pictures.

One of the soccer mom's took these of my kids (her kids are on my younger kids soccer teams). I was so thankful for these shots because I hardly took any this year. Mine are definitely not the same type of quality as these. There's only so much that my Cool Pix camera and Photobucket editing can do!

There's Veronica right in middle wearing purple! She has been scoring goals this season! You go, girl!
Photobucket
There she is in the middle. It looks like she's about to push the boy in the green.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS SHOT OF ELI!!

There's my Danny on the left! He's really concentrating!

Get it, Danny!!!!!

  2. These are great photos!

I played in Jr high, High school and college. I was terrible at first but by my jr year in high school finally got some vision on the field. Your kidos are going to have a great advantage already knowing the sport.

Don´t push em too hard as it can wreck the knees early. I still feel it sometimes in my knees. Those are usually the first part of the body that goes in this sport. :(

I had some wicked shin splints my first year in Jr. Varsity. oh man! What memories. I didn´t even think I was going to play high school ball but got sucked into it. then ended up working at it for the rest of my school career. CRAZY Sport. Now my boys think they know more than me because the play in the park with their friends. LOL

  10. Great post Alicia! It just makes me heart smile to see kids play soccer. Soccer is HUGE passion of mine.

The other day I had my Mia Hamm jersey on. A friends 12 year old girl saw it and said, "oh, did that used to be your last name?" Huh! I said no, it was Mia Hamm. She says who's that? I said she is like the Michael Jordan of womens soccer. She says, "who's Michael Jordan?" Ahhhhhhhhhhh!!!

  21. Those are amazing soccer pictures. I try to take some each week but mine aren't usually that good. Of course, I am trying to keep up with an almost 2 year old while I am taking pictures. That's quite a challenge for me!

  28. Wow! Amazing what an expensive camera will do, huh? I need one, LOL!

That 2nd picture made me miss my family. The "beautiful" desert mountains of California made me think of my sister. That's exactly what it looks like where she lives.
