FRIDAY PHOTO FLASHBACK

I started "Friday Photo Flashback" because I have so many pictures from my PRE-digital camera days. I thought it would be fun to scan them and share them here with you. I'm having so much fun doing this, that I would love for you to join me, too! So dig out the photo albums and put your scanner to good use! Don't forget to sign in to MckLinky so we can all visit and comment on each others blogs!

Here's a picture of my sister and I (I am on the scooter) when we were living in Moffett Field. I was probably around three years old at the time. A memory that comes to mind when I look at this picture has to do with my dad's scooter/moped. When my sister got out of school, I would ride on there with him to pick her up down the street from where the bus dropped her off. Now, this was way before seat belt laws, and he would let me sit down where his feet would be at. I know, TOTALLY DANGEROUS, but he probably figured we were only going a few feet down the street anyway. Besides his scooter, his other love was his green Charger! That will be another post of its own.

  3. Oh my gosh, you look so cute! That scooter is so cool...don't you wish you still had it in the family? Isn't it crazy when you look back on the things people did that they thought were perfectly sane and we'd never do today? Sometimes I think we might be going a bit too far.

  13. You both look awesome, Speed Racer! And yes, times were different - riding in the back of a station wagon was the best ~ no seat belts, arm hanging out the back window, ahhh, that was so fun. Can't wait to see the green Charger ~ ♥

  25. SUPER cute picture. I've never ridden a scooter, or a motorcycle. I want to, but I'm secretly scared to death. I rode a moped once, and it took off like a rocket, and I screamed... a lot, haha. I went through a "I want a Vespa" phase, but, then I got married and had kids. I guess I still want one, but... only in my dreams, hee hee.
