FRIDAY PHOTO FLASHBACK

I started "Friday Photo Flashback" because I have so many pictures from my PRE-digital camera days. I thought it would be fun to scan them and share them here with you. I'm having so much fun doing this, that I would love for you to join me, too! So dig out the photo albums and put your scanner to good use! Don't forget to sign in to MckLinky so we can all visit and comment on each others blogs!

1978-ish

This is a picture of me (left) with my mom and my sister. I was around 9 years old. You can hardly see it, but I'm holding a lollipop in my left hand, and I remember rubbing it on my lips so they could turn red! I wanted it to look like I was wearing lipstick! I also loved that tank top I was wearing. And it's so funny how kids always make peace signs in pictures!

  5. haha! I did that too! And it sure looks like it worked on you. Actually my favorite tootsie roll pop was the red ones for this very purpose...but running a close second was the chocolate flavored tootsie roll pop, but that didnt give the desired lipstick look :o)

    Blessings & Aloha!

  13. Wow red lips! You are so cute, Alicia and i smiled seeing the peace sign because i just realized kids love to that even long time ago. It's still an "in" in the generation of young people today.

  16. Amazing! your mom looks like she is a sister and not your mom. I mean, she looks so young! and I thought you were the one on the right. LOL. I got all mixed up.

I know my boys make those signs too. we told them though to becareful not to make gang signs. scary thought. We live so detatched from all that but will be going to the States soon. getting ready. ;)

What a great memory this picture must be for you.

  20. I am lovin' the colors in your shirt and on your lips too! ;-) Is that not the funniest thing, seeing the peace sign. I don't ever remember doing it, but my kids do it all the time too.

When I was posting for Kaleb's birthday I realized I totally skipped one of your questions. So sorry. The one about which kids are the most like me and which ones aren't. In all honestly...they are all pretty well evened out. Sorry about that. :-)
