This is the current painting my son, Eli (who will be 10 next month), brought home from his art class. I think this is his 9th one thus far.
Do you remember the song "Sail On" by The Commodores? That's what I think of when I look at this.
Be sure to visit 7 Clown Circus for Wordful Wednesday
Wow, you are going to have to dedicate a wall to all of his art. This one is wonderful. He is a budding artist for sure.
ReplyDeleteOh, I have an idea. You should print out his art work and turn them into tiny magnets for your family.

ReplyDeleteOh my, how old is your son? That is really beautiful. He even included two birds in the background. I hope you frame them and put them up. My little girl drew me a picture which I just posted. Ermmm...let just say, I will laminate it and show it to her when she's older.
ReplyDeleteSoooo beautiful! I can imagine sailing and relaxing...I love the reflection and the colors! Eli, you created an amazing piece of art!
ReplyDeleteI definitely remember that song...one of my favorites...my hubby posed to this for one of his body building competitions---back when we were just dating :o)
Thank you so much for stopping by and for your sweet comment. My hubby and I had a wonderful time up at my dad's (the 26 hour drive to my dad's from our home in Georgia to his home in Wisconsin was well worth it :o) Thank goodness though for the midway stop to sleep and visit with our kids who are all at college in Kentucky :o)
It was straight back to work for me, so haven't had a minute to catch up really on blogging, but I want to try to reply to the wonderful comments left on my N post.
Blessings & Aloha!
