WORDFUL WEDNESDAY-BOYS WILL BE BOYS!!

It's amazing how boys and girls interact differently with their friends.

For the most part, girls love to talk and laugh with their girlfriends. And with girls, you either click or your don't.

Not boys though. There can be thirty of them in one room and nobody even has to talk. They can just be with each other without filling any voids.

However, with most boys, they love to be active (like as in wrestling).

And there are no hard feelings, it's just for fun!

Here's the proof to back up that fun fact!

Here you have some of the teenage boys after VBS last week (at our church). Just hangin' in the cafe. No big deal. They are all mellow and just chillin'.

All it takes is ONE person to mix it up!

And this time, one of my son's (Daniel) is one of them in the mix! Here he is wanting to wrestle one of "big boys."

What you'll notice in the pictures is how everyone in the background looks unfazed by everything that is happening right in front of them. Amazing!

Once Danny gets going, it's hard for him to stop!

See?

What do you think? Future wrestler?

Down for the count?

Tired yet?
Photobucket

Hardly!

They're just getting started!

And just so you know, there was nobody hurt. They all love to "play" like this. Everyone who walked by didn't blink an eye because they are just being "boys!"

  3. My boys are just starting to wrestle together...it makes me nervous...you know the saying, "It's all fun and games"

I wish they would wait until they are older to do the wrestling!

  4. I have that rambunctous activity in my house day in and day out! It drives me insane most days - I tell them to take it ouside - all the while Allie will sit and watch a movie. Oh how sweet girls are :)

  6. I totally agree, boys can be friends just due to the fact that they're all boys but with girls it takes so much more. Which kind of sucks for girls sometimes, especially if you're the one that nobody clicks with.
My son is just about 2 and he's already starting with all that wrestling and rambunctious activity....it must be in the dna, lol

  9. LOL.. I love this. Boys will be boys. That is so true! My little ones ALWAYS try to fight the big kids too! It's so funny, and just shows you that boys are just wired different than girls. I would NEVER try to jump a girl that was twice my size. Or any girl for that matter. But, boys. They love it, they are so much fun! P.S - I loved your comment yesterday on my blog. It means a lot coming from you, there supermom!

  21. That is so true about the difference between boys and girls.

I love that they get to just be boys! It's too prevalent these days to try and take away childlikeness from kids.

  25. I grew up in a house full of womem and ended up in a house full of men. I could never quite see the fun in the wrestling, but your photo brought back the smile to my face and the memories of all the noise!
