FRIDAY PHOTO FLASHBACK

I started "Friday Photo Flashback" because I have so many pictures from my PRE-digital camera days. I thought it would be fun to scan them and share them here with you. I'm having so much fun doing this, that I would love for you to join me, too! So dig out the photo albums and put your scanner to good use! Don't forget to sign in to MckLinky so we can all visit and comment on each others blogs!

1976

That is me, making the ever so popular peace sign.

I had to be around 7 years old at the time.

There is my sister on the far left, my uncle, my dad's sister, my mom with the kerchief, and my little cousin on the right. When we were younger, it seemed like we spent alot of time with our cousins. This was at our house that we lived in till my parents divorced in 1979, and from then on, we hardly ever saw my cousins on my dad's side.

And look at all that liquor in the background! Honestly, I don't even remember my parents drinking. I'm sure it was for entertaining when we had company. They had lots of friends, and it was always fun when people were over.

Good times...

  5. You have such cool old photos. All of ours look like someone was being attacked while taking the picture: all blurry, out of focused, off center and, just weird! Thanks for sharing and linking with me. Love it!

  13. Thanks for hooking me up, and stopping by too! That was very nice of you. Yes, I was here late last night, but nobody was home so to speak. ~hehe~ So, KNOCK-KNOCK, anybody home? Oh, I see there is. Look at that cutie pie little girl with the peace sign. Well, I've seen a few pictures of you now when you were little, and you sure look like a happy-go-lucky child, and you look like just a bundle of fun! Too sweet! Your Mom is a gorgeous woman! I always thought Asian women were beautiful though. Thanks for sharing. Ditto on the liquer by the way. My Dad's shelf in our linen closet ~lol~ Have a great weekend.

  23. I hardly know my cousins on my dad's side. We were never aloud to socialize with them. My parents served liquor every time they had company. At Christmas time it was spiked eggnog.
