WHERE DID OCTOBER GO??

It seems like October just came and left (actually it did).

We celebrated my youngest daughter's 7th birthday (which falls on the same day as the Harvest Festival), and I also had my first parent teacher conference!

My kids are doing well, and have already learned SO much from being at the school! It's amazing how much they are able to take in, in just a few months! I know that if I was still homeschooling them, they would not be where they are right now. God knew I was overwhelmed, and I knew that they could be learning so much more!

Besides their grades, I was ultimately proud of how the teachers described my children, in general. They all described them as "kind and respectful." Well, except for my oldest daughter, who they described AS VERY SOCIABLE...lol. Just knowing that that is how they perceive them, confirmed what I already knew.

So, here are just a few pictures of what we've been up to!!

Happy Birthday, Veronica!

  1. I'm so glad your children made the transition well. Not everyone should homeschool their children. Many do a wonderful job but each child and mom is different. It is amazing what children can learn too. I'm learning that first hand as I recently began working in school.

    Blessings and love,
    Debbie

  8. This shows you how long I've been gone! I had no idea your kids were in school now (outside of the home!). I'm thankful it was a smooth transition!

Ha -- we would pick out your daughter in any photo with that pose of hers. When she grows up, she is going to wonder why she is playing "gangsta" in most of her shots. lol She is still adorable.

The cake and pasta look delicious! I should never come over here hungry!

    Love ya,
    b
