FRIDAY PHOTO FLASHBACK

I started "Friday Photo Flashback" because I have so many pictures from my PRE-digital camera days. I thought it would be fun to scan them and share them here with you. I'm having so much fun doing this, that I would love for you to join me, too! So dig out the photo albums and put your scanner to good use! Don't forget to sign in to MckLinky so we can all visit and comment on each others blogs!

1966

I know this picture is not the greatest quality, but I love it for the memory.

This is my parents wedding reception.

They divorced in 1979, but I'm thankful that I have so many pictures prior to that.

I love looking through my parents' wedding pictures, too. I remember asking them why they didn't choose me for their flower girl. :)

Oh what a wondeful picture! Can you imagine the joy of the day. What a special picture to have.

Sorry I haven't been doing the Flashback. My mom is frustrated I've been missing it. But my dumb OLD scanner won't go with Windows 7, grrrrrrr. I hope to get back with the Flashbacks soon!

I love having my parent's wedding picture, too. It is such a beautiful memory to have. Both of my parents are gone now, so it is even more special.

I remember looking at my parents wedding photos as a kid and thinking my mom was a beautiful "princess".

I really enjoy Friday Photo Flashback, seeing everyone's photos and their narratives of their photos.

Blessings & Aloha!
(So glad to have gotten my post together to link up with you here!)
Now...to get ready for work! It will be late before I make it around to the others.

i remember looking through my parents album all the time as a little girl. i think because i knew i was in my mom's belly then. i don't know. but it was always fun to look at. and now, it makes me thankful for my wedding being done how it 'should've' been. great picture. and memories.

I wish I had photos like these of the 'then days'

This is an awesome idea! I would love to join you but don't have a scanner. But I'm hoping to upgrade my computer with my tax refund and do my part to help the economy. Maybe I'll add scanner to my wish list cause I have tons of older photos, pre-digital photos. I love the photo of your parents.

It's a beautiful picture! I have a photo of my parents when they were dating that I hold dear for the same reason. My sister had a great wedding photo of them that I really need to get a copy of.
