We went to dinner to The Outback Steakhouse last night, and we haven't been there for years. The last time we ate there was when we lived in Hawaii, in 2001! And it's not that it's far from us either. It is located at the mall that is only five minutes away from our home.
Since it was Isaiah's birthday recently, he got to choose where to eat. Let me tell you, it was like pulling teeth to have him decide, so I basically chose the Outback for him. He was hesitant at first, but soon realized that he was going to enjoy the food. I think he thought they only served steak there. He didn't know there was a variety.
We started out with a couple of appetizers, and my sister in-law mentioned that the onion blossom was one of the most fattening things to eat. But, did that stop us from devouring it? NOT!

This was so good with the dipping sauce!
This is what I ordered. It is called "Mum's Chopped Steak." It is 10 oz. of ground steak, served with garlic mashed potatoes, topped with sliced mushrooms and Cabernet sauce. I was supposed to get fresh vegetables too, but instead, they accidentally gave me DOUBLE mashed potatoes! No argument from me!
Eli and Danny both had the Boomerang Cheeseburger from the kids menu.
Veronica had the Joey Sirloin!
My husband and Isaiah ordered this combo meal that had ribs, coconut shrimp, and fries.
Here is the Oreo Sundae that the kids had. Yummy!
I realized I didn't take a picture of Miranda's chicken strips, or my sister in-laws sandwich. But, their food looked pretty darn tasty too!
And here are the kiddos when we were done. Of course, this was a hassle just to try to get a decent shot of them. They were so not interested in taking a picture!

Yummy, love the outback.
We have an Outback in Malaysia but I've never been to one as it's quite a distance from where we live.
We had Outback just this weekend and it was WONDERFUL! We love the Bloomin' Onion and their steaks. I definitely think you made a great choice for Isaiah! :)
I love the Outback but we haven't been in forever. Ours is seriously right up the street, I could probably see it from my house if there weren't other stores in the way, lol.
That sundae looks delicious and now I want ice cream for breakfast, lol
That is one of our favorite restaurants! Seriously my husband will get extra bloomin onion and then eat it cold for breakfast the next morning. I know ewwww! He likes it with ranch to dip instead of their sauce. I just love it without sauce period!
So yummy!
We love Outback, but we usually only go when we have a gift card because it can be kind of expensive! I love that you manage to get a picture of everyone's food! My hubby would laugh at me if I told him to not eat until I took a picture:)
Outback is one of my favorite places to eat:) I always get Alice Springs Chicken! Those pictures are making me want some RIGHT now!!!

Lucky you! My husband really wants to go to the Outback, but every time we try the wait is so long that we end up going elsewhere.
Oh goodness! All of the food looks so yummy! I could dig into those cheese fries right now. I loved eating at Outback, but the one we had closed a couple of months ago. :(
Yum! We love the mac n' cheese on the kids menu. I make it at home and it's so good.

That is so unfair to have to look at all of that!
Yum! I've only been to OBSH once and we had one of those blooming onions. Sure, it is enough calories for one day, but hey.....it was a birthday celebration. :)
Oh my...I love Bloomin' Onions. I just might be craving one now... ;)
Oh my word...all of that looks AMAZING.
That looks so good. We can never get into our Outback. It is always packed!!
I've wanted to eat at the Outback that is about an hour from here for years, but the few times that we've tried, there was over an hour's wait, so I still have gotten the chance to. The blooming Onion sounds wonderful as I LOVE fried onions! All of this food looked totally awesome! You should have told them that you were blogging about it!
