Yes, I Did Cook On Valentines!

I could have so taken the easy way out for Valentine's Day!

Because I ended up having bronchitis (again), we missed a Valentine's dinner we were supposed to go to on Friday, plus I didn't go to a soccer banquet on Saturday night. I couldn't pick up my meds till after work today, which meant that I was in no mood to cook. You would think I'd be bouncing off the walls after all the sugar I ate at school, but I could have called it a night.

My husband didn't care what we were having for dinner, and I was really close to buying pizza (again). BUT, I told myself that I was going to suck it up and make my family a nice dinner! So I did! I went to the grocery store and bought some rib eye steaks, asparagus, and a frozen apple pie!

And two hours later, we had this!! I'm so glad I did this for them! I should have made gravy for my mashed potatos, but I was in a hurry to get it all done!

Thank you, Sara Lee!

YUM! That looks great.
We had our Valentine's Dinner at church last night so I took it easy tonight and made sloppy joes. We did eat them on Valentine's paper plates though! haha
Hope you're feeling better now.

That looks delicious. love in motion.

I would have cooked too, but I was knocked down with the flu bad. I hurt in all places, so it was burritos and dessert for the kids.

I will make dinner today.
