Golden State Warriors!!

This night will go down as one of the best date nights, EVER!!!

My husband and I are huge Warriors fans! We love watching the games, and our kids think we are crazy when they hear us screaming at the TV! Being in the trade that my husband is in, he has tons of connections, and one of those connections has season ticket holder seats that he gave to my husband to use for one of the games! An additional bonus was having VIP parking as well!

Of course, the highlight was seeing our names on the Jumbotron and hearing them wish us a Happy Anniversary!

Harlem Globetrotters

One of the funnest things we did with the kids is to take them to a Harlem Globetrotters game! It was so entertaining, and our friend gave us suite tickets to enjoy. I remember watching them on TV when I was little, so it was pretty surreal to see it live! And of course, I had to get a hat, and the boys a basketball!!

Escape To Alcatraz

Considering my husband and I grew up in the Bay Area, neither of us have ever been to Alcatraz Island! We were planning another one of our "staycations," so what better time to do it then! From the boat ride to the tour, it was so worth. It is well organized, and just the history alone is amazing!!! I highly recommend this to everyone!!

After we were done with the tour, we went straight to the hotel, rested for a bit, cleaned up, and headed to dinner which was only a couple of blocks away. We wanted to try this Italian restaurant,  Barbacco, that had great reviews! Besides the uncomfortable chairs, the food was really tasty!

Christmas Disney Vacation

Back in October, we decided to take the kids Disneyland and Universal Studios for Christmas. My sister in-law wanted to take my youngest daughter there on Halloween, but I just said, "Why don't we all just go for Christmas!" So from there, all the planning started. Since there were going to be 8 of us, I started looking into Airbnb's. I knew it would be more affordable, especially since I wanted all of us to stay together in one place. It worked out perfectly, and it was only a few minutes from Disney! We arrived Christmas Eve in the late afternoon, and after we checked in and got situated, we headed over to Downtown Disney to do a little shopping, and have dinner!

We all decided on Italian food, and ate at this awesome place called Naples Ristorante e Pizzeria. It was a two hour wait for a table, but since we wanted outdoor seating, the wait was only 30 minutes!

Everything was delicious. From the apps, salads, pasta dishes, and the pizza you see here! It was so good we ate there again the next night!

After dinner, we walked around a bit more, had churros, then headed back to the condo since we had a very early morning!!

Later in the afternoon, we headed back to the condo to rest for a couple of hours because you can imagine how tired our feet were! Later that evening, we went straight to dinner at the same restaurant in Downtown Disney, and then we quickly headed to California Adventure for The Tower Of Terror!

We only went on those two rides and then headed back to Disney. My youngest daughter wanted to ride Dumbo, so all the boys (including my husband) decided to go on it, too!

One of the main attractions that we were looking forward to seeing was Harry Potter! It totally did not disappoint, and since we got there early, the line for the ride wasn't bad at all. It's amazing here!! You seriously feel like you are THERE, in Hogsmeade!

The other attraction that we were looking forward to was The Walking Dead Tour!! Oh my gosh, the anticipation!! We were all so excited and anxious! We just wished it was longer!
  photo f9d119bb-c0c2-4a99-98b3-3dc365b6aff6.jpg

We did so many other things, which were really fun! After the TWD attraction, we headed over to the Transformer 3D ride, and then to The Mummy. After the Mummy, I got so nauseated..lol! I was seriously out of it after that! Thank goodness we had a full day already, and we were so ready to head back to the condo and get dinner!

We were headed out the next morning, but we had to make one final stop!! To Porto's!!! If you are ever in Southern California, this is a must stop! Not only do they have amazing pastries, but they also serve sandwiches and Cuban dishes!!! They are known for so many things, but I think the #1 seller are these guava danishes!

And when you can't decide, just get a bunch of different goodies!!

The Cutest Cupcakes

I love watching Cupcake Wars! It was so cool to watch this one episode where one of the contestants lived not too far from me! Then, to see her win was amazing! I KNEW I had to visit her store!

I wish I took more pictures, but I was in a hurry!!

You can see her front window where she proudly displays that she was the winner on Cupcake Wars!

Puzzling

Sometimes it's good to turn off the TV, or put away the cell phones, and have some good ole' quality time with the kids!

Puzzles are so underrated these days. This was so fun (and sometimes frustrating) to do this with the kids, but totally worth it!

Dim Sum

My husband took me to his favorite restaurant in the city to get Dim Sum. We came at the perfect time (when it first opened) because the place filled up fast!! It was so good!! Now I'm craving for it again!

Me & My Guy

Even though I'm posting things that happened awhile back, it's my way of catching up with my blog, and journaling moments that are special.

This one is way back, January 2015, when my husband and I had another baycation in San Francisco. We started off with lunch at The Cliff House (which overlooks the beach), enjoyed the weather, and then headed to our hotel. There's nothing that compares to when we have this quality time together!

Beautiful day!

I don't know why I didn't take a picture of our meal, but I remember having a huge burger, and my husband had cioppino. But, here are the appetizers that we started off with. Shrimp cocktail, and fried calamari.

Dessert is always a must! Creme Brulee for him, and fruit cobbler for me!

I always love the views from our room!! I seriously never get tired of it! Majority of the time that we are in the city, we stay at Hotel NIkko.

We found this cute coffee shop in The Mission called Tierra Mia Coffee, and we always stop here before we head home.
