Perfect! I could walk with her!
In fact, we walked 2.5 miles!
So, we all went this past Monday, and I totally knew this was going to be a blog post in the making!
So, after the guys (and Miranda) warmed up, what they did was sprint to the 10 yard line and back, do 20 push ups, and then continue again, but to the 20, then 30, etc.!
Here are some of the boys! There are my two little ones sitting down.
I had to post this because my husband was like, "Don't take a picture." LOL
After all those sprints, they do football drills.
Here's my friends niece and Veronica walking backwards. If Veronica looks tired, it's because she was complaining about being bored, thirsty, and hungry..lol.
Of course, the highlight for the kids is when they saw these tires on the grass area! You can imagine all the fun they had with these things!
You can see for yourself!
Nobody had the guts to get in the inside of it and roll down the hill!!
Scaredy cats! Heehee

What fun! And those big tires are for big man competition (linemen)...they flip them down the field!
Wow, awesome fun.
You daredevil mom! I hope you didn't try to get the kids to go inside the tires :)
Last summer, I went to our local track...for a month and then stopped. I could not even do a mile which is 4 laps around the track. I think I started going out of breath by the second lap. You did 2.5? That's really, really good!
How Fun!!
haha@scaredy cats! looks like a great workout you all had...i love the photos...lol@hubby say dont take a pic...yea, I know how that goes, lol...well thanks for sharing this one, today turned out to be a beautiful sunny day instead of the rainy weather Portland usually has...take care for now!
I should take my lesson from you and start walking (if not jog!) around the track --which is right next door! BUT it's too hot and humid now... excuses, excuses. Maybe when the weather cools down. (I'm pretty sure I'll find another excuse then!) LOL!
How fun! Those tires look like so much fun!!! Hubby has now learned to never say, Don't take a picture....of course we have to do it then!!! Good for you for getting out there to walk, I need do the same but I don't have enough time in the day.
Those tires look awesome! Why weren't you in one ;-)
And as you're walking, you have all that entertainment to be watching!
What a fun way to get your kiddos to exercise! And way to go on the 2.5 miles:) Walking is always easier when you have someone to talk to.
Oh that would have been fun rolling down the hill in them!!! Can't believe they'd walk on them but not get inside. Funny boys!!!!
Now that looks like a workout!
I'm surprised that no one got in the tires:)
What a good example of fitness..yet if that were here the heat alone would make me run......away. LOL
What a perfect combo...exercise and fun! Combine those two and everyone will want to join in. :-)
It looks like you all had a great time. I remember playing in old tractor tires when I was a kid. Lots of fun!
looks like a lot of family fun!
Looks like great fun!!
My son loves those tires even when he has to throw them around at football practice.
Have a great day.
What a fun and great way to get the kids outside and doing something physical. We just don't do enough of that here and really should.
You husband sounds like my husband- "don't take a picture"- love that you did anyway!
Those kids look like they had fun with the tires!
What a cool thing for your whole family to do and not "think" they are exercising. What fun!
I don't know if I would be brave enough to get in the tire either, I would probably puke...lol
That is great that the whole family got in on the workout, I have recently started shopping at the fruit market and we have been eating a lot of fruits and veggies....just the beginnings of the summer time fun.
How fun! What a great way to get exercise with a fun bunch of people.
Good for you! Hey, good for your entire family! :) And did you get a new camera? Great pics lately. :)
awesome! It´s so great that the kids have friends to get active with. My boys go out with their daddy to do football drills and running too! it´s so important! This facility looks awesome! you and just use it whenever? what a blessing!

It's too bad they didn't roll down the hill...that would have made for some great photos! :P
That looks like so much fun.
That reminded me of when I was younger. My cousins and I used to roll down a hill in a tire like that! It was soooo much fun! We were so carefree and pretty much daredevils!
I bet you everyone slept well that night!!
What a cool family outing! I can just see my boys when they were teens getting INTO the wheel to roll it down the hill! We have a steep hill in our side pasture and they used to sit in lawn mowers (took the motor out and sat in the hole) and rode them down the hill, and sometimes they took big tarps when it was VERY windy, and would hold them up and “parachute” down the hill so they were sort of “flying!” LOL BOYS!!!
