They Came And Went

My sister and her family were on vacation in Southern California for a couple of weeks. The day before they left back home to Hawaii,  they were only able to spend a little bit of time with us. Thankfully, that one short day was the day of my kids 8th grade graduation. After the ceremony, we went to lunch, and then to my mom's house to hang out for a few hours.

It was nice to have even have that little time with them since we only see them about once a year.  It's not like we could just drive to see them, so this was a special time to be with them.

My sister wanted to take us to lunch at this restaurant she found by my mom's house. I've been there once before, but at that time, I remember having a headache and couldn't enjoy my food. So, I was glad to be back and try something else!

Here is my daughter on the left, my hubby in the back, my son in the tie, and their two cousins!

They reserved this Volkswagen bus that is literally in the restaurant. LOL, my son in the front looks bummed out because he wanted to sit with the adults! I think he was more worried that he was going to have to order from the "kid" menu!

I didn't get up and take pictures of everyone's plate, but everything was delicious! Check out this omelette! Oh, and by the way, this restaurant is called Scrambl'z. However, they have more than just eggs!

And I am a total burger fanatic! I will choose a burger over anything! This is their King Kong burger!

And finally, trying to get a shot of the kids!!

We miss you guys already!!!

Laughing at your son being bummed about ordereing off the kids menu!! I remember when my kids dreaded the kids menu, now though they wouldn't mind ordering somethings off it. Go figure.

That is so great that your were able to spend some time together :o) We had so much fun when my hubby and I were able to be home for his brother's 50th bday on the Big Island! I wish that all our kids could have gone then too!

The restaurant food looks yummy! And love the VW bus!

Blessings & Aloha!
