And Then There Were Three...

Two of the puppies went to their new families this weekend.

It was so nice to see how excited they all were to take them home.

It was a little sad AT FIRST, but a huge relief at the same time.

I'm just glad they are going to loving homes!

Another one goes on Tuesday, and then we'll have two left to give away.

My friend's kids are so excited!! I already know that this puppy is going to be loved..big time!

And this is my friends son holding their new puppy!! My youngest son was really attached to this one, and he actually cried both times the puppies left. So sad!! But, this one is only five minutes away!

PUPPIES R' US!

What an experience we will never forget! This all just happened. 2:30 a.m.!

We knew Mocha was due to have her babies any day now. We would literally see the puppies moving in her tummy, and according to everything I read, that meant she was at the end of her pregnancy.

Tonight, she was acting restless, she was whining, she didn't know what she wanted, and she couldn't sit still. But, the place she wanted to be was under my daughter's bed. We set all the blankets underneath so she'd have a place to have her litter.

Around 1am, my daughter opens my door and says, "Mocha had puppies!" This is the first one we saw! I was in awe!! It was so unreal!

She was still so restless after having this one, and we had no clue what she was doing. About twenty minutes later, we see a light brown puppy! She had already cleaned it up.  And then another few minutes goes by, and out pops another one!

We assumed she was all done, but then, POP...a black one comes out, too! You can see that she's not done cleaning this one up.

And much to our surprise, she HAS ANOTHER ONE!!! See him down below with the white stripe? Wow! All this time too, Mocha isn't making any noises. She's a tough mama!

But, she's not done!!! She has another black one!! Amazing!

And finally..she's done. She's worn out. All her babies are snuggled under her belly. I don't know why I stressed over it. She did fine, and her doggy instincts were in full force!

Of a dog named Maggie.

Who was pregnant with 5 pups of her own.

There were 6 of them living all together...

And they were not alone.

Till this one day when the litter got adopted...

But they knew they would see each other again.

Yes it's true, because we are all good friends..

And now there are more of them!

Roscoe stayed with our other friends, who already have a Bichon named Angel.


Well, Angel & Roscoe hooked up and had a litter of their own.

Here are Angelina & Chewy (because he looks like Chewbacca). Aren't they adorable! They look just like their mama! Angelina stayed with her mommy, Angel, and her daddy, Roscoe.

Angel also had Toby (definitely looks more like the Chihuahua side). Another one of our friends have him!

And Junior! Yes, our baby! He has the furry ears like the Bichon! I'm so glad he & Mocha have each other.

And Chewy is now living with Maggie, his grandma!!!

REUNITED AND IT FEELS SO GOOD.....

I was so happy for our puppy Mocha because she was able to be reunited with her brothers last weekend! My friends daughter's birthday party was on Saturday and they have one of Mocha's brothers. Her sister in law has the other two and they were there also! It was so cute to see them lick each other and wrestle on the grass!
