I haven't hooked up with this meme in awhile, so when I randomly recorded my husband, daughter, and our friends playing worship last night at our home fellowship, I knew I wanted to share.

On the far left on bass is my friend Carmen, my daughter Miranda is playing the shaker, my husband playing his djembe, and our friend Tony singing and playing guitar.

I'm sure most of you have heard this song, "Hosanna-Praise is Rising."

I don't know how many of you have heard of Shawn McDonald, but let me just say that we love his music. He is so annointed! I can literally tear up just listening to one of his songs because you can't help but be brought into the presence of the Lord. Isn't that what worship is all about? It's not about the "performer/performance" but about them being used by the Holy Spirit to minister to us! This is one of my favorite songs! Beautiful!

I love this song! I'm sure most of you sing it at your church. These words never fail to make me tear up. Regardless of what I'm going through (good or bad), I will always praise His name. Every blessing He pours out, will turn to PRAISE!! Be blessed!

I love this song! It's so worshipFULL!! I'm sure the majority of you know this song since it's been out for awhile. The words are so powerful. When you close your eyes and meditate on the words, it's simply AMAZING!! Our God is an Awesome God!!

I think this meme is perfect for me because our family LOVES music!!! My husband is on the Praise & Worship team at our church, and my older son & daughter play guitar/sing rotate for the Jr. High team. My two younger boys are like their dad and play percussion (congas and djembe)! So, if you ever come over, get ready for a "jam" session!! We like all genres of Christian music! One song, in particular, that always speaks to me is "You Never Let Go" by Matt Redman. What an awesome song to remind us that God is always there, no matter what storm we are going through. He is holding us and carrying us through our trials, and till the end, we will praise Him!!!
