SCRIPTURE SUNDAY

On Sundays, I usually post something random. I decided that instead of doing that, I will share a scripture. I pray that it will be a blessing to whoever reads it!

"If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.-2 Chronicles 7:14

This is an awesome scripture. One i have had memorized for a long time. I love how we must be humble & then pray and seek His face. Humility is sometimes hard for me...but oh so required.
so appropriate for this day.

Love this verse girl!!!

I will keep praying that the Lord direct us to 'our church' and I agree it IS important for Trevor to like it too.. My exposure to God was so intermittent as a kid... I don't want that for my future step son... I was moved to tears the week when at 7 he started to read to us from an ESV version of an adult Bible, God's first 7 days of creation! I want that excitement to continue for him always!

I want him to be excited about going and I want any future siblings to have that same feel (assuming we stay in SC)

even as a 'baby Christian' as I call myself... I find I have scriptures I've memorized and don't even realize it... or favorites like the one on my blog header... Psalms 139:23-24

Love, love, love that scripture! There is a Fred Hammond song on his Inner Court CD that is based on that scripture. Thanks for sharing!
