FRIDAY PHOTO FLASHBACK

I started "Friday Photo Flashback" because I have so many pictures from my PRE-digital camera days. I thought it would be fun to scan them and share them here with you. I'm having so much fun doing this, that I would love for you to join me, too! So dig out the photo albums and put your scanner to good use! Don't forget to sign in to MckLinky so we can all visit and comment on each others blogs!

JULY 1996

Looking at this pictures makes me realize even more, how time literally flies by. This was just the beginning of our family. I was only a couple weeks away from my 27th birthday, and my husband was 25. Isaiah was a newborn here, and I got pregnant again with Miranda when he was 6 weeks old. I know, crazy, right? I remember stressing that everything was going to be double. I was still working, and back then, I NEVER would have thought that I would eventually be a stay at home mom with five children! It just goes to show that Gods plans are definitely different than ours (and better)!

Yes, indeed. It is wonderful how God's plans work out no matter where we think we are headed. Great picture, Alicia.

Oh my goodness, I can only imagine the shock you felt when you learned you were pregnant again after having given birth 6 weeks prior to that!! Probably just as shocked as I was that we were having another set of twins...I would've seriously freaked out if that had happened 6 weeks after the 1st set were born!

That's such an amazing picture of your little family before you were a family of 7!

You still look like you are 27! I can't believe you got pregnant so quickly. It took me 18 months to get my period back after my first one!

What a great picture! We have one that is almost identical right after little Oscar was born. I have to admit at that moment I never would have dreamed that I would be a mom to three boys - EVER! I must say that God's plans were definitely better than mine!

Can I just say, wow! 6 weeks? I thought my kids were close at 20 months apart. You are a super mom!

at times we don't understand what is the plan of God for us but if we let just let Him be then all things just work out alright.

Look how far your family has come! You know, most people get heavier and more wrinkly as they age. You got thinner and even younger looking! What's your secret???

What a great picture of your family! My cousin did the same thing as you did! When she went for her 6 week check up after having her second baby she found out she was pregnant again! She had one in January and the other in October of the same year. Were yours born in the same year like that?

Whoa, there Fertile Mrytle! Six weeks??!??!? I'm shocked, surprised, aghast, and stunned. How is that even possible? (Please, I know how it's possible, but STILL...)! I thought I was going to die from exhaustion and stress when I got pregnant with number two when number one was nine months old....

YOU GO GIRL!

You're a testament to stay at home moms everywhere and I just adore you now more than I did before which was quite a lot!!!

Both you and your husband "age" wonderfully! In fact, I use that word very loosely... you don't look any older and if anything both of you look even better!!! :)

I would like to play next week! Does the photo(s) I post have to be photos of me? Or can they be photos of other people, as well?

Aw! So happy to get some time to catch upon some blog reading! I really love your Friday Photo Flashback posts. Cute family! My hubby's brother is 14 months older than him, his sister 13 months younger than my hubby...but then the youngest came along 6 years after. Quite different than in my family... first me, then my brother 11 years after, and then my sister 9 years after him! (My mom was pregnant when she came to see me when my oldest daughter was born...my parents were very surprised :o)

If I can get my blogging act together (:o) I really want to start doing these! Hmmm... maybe if I learn how to do the automatic post thing, so that I can do them on the weekends prior.

Blessings & Aloha!
