Actually, Miranda came home with a fever, headache, and sore throat! Poor thing! She wanted us to turn the heater on in the car, but then the rest of us would be sweating to death! I missed church on Sunday (my birthday) to stay home with her. I didn't mind though because she needed some TLC!
On our way home they were sharing stories at camp, but mostly the ones about all the goofy stuff that happened, and of course, some of the drama as well! I'm sure we'll get to the "deep" stuff soon! But, from some of the pictures I've seen already, I can tell that they were so blessed!
I have some pictures that I will post from their week. Their camp leader took tons of pictures and put them on Miranda's Facebook page. They are mostly of Miranda and the girls since of course, she was with them the entire time. Also, I have a few pictures of the kids and their friends when we picked them up on Saturday. You'll see that Miranda is in rare form!! LOL!
They had tons of water activities! See the big yellow thing? That's called "The Blob!"
Isaiah (pulling the rope) during one of the relay races. This looks like it could be breakfast! Shelly (the redhead) was their camp counselor.
There's Miranda in the pink shorts! Look at those leg muscles! Isaiah told us a story how Miranda won in a race, and the other girl even took off before her. In Isaiah's words, he said, "It was so sick!!!!!!" FYI, Miranda is a FAST runner. In fact, she's faster than the fastest boy on Isaiah's soccer team. We need to put her in track!
NOW HERE ARE PICTURES OF THEM WHEN THEY CAME HOME!
Our church bus!
Isaiah & his buddy Aaron! He's a year older than Isaiah, so he didn't go. They were excited to see each other!
Aaron's older brother on the left, and Daniel talking to my boys. There's hubby chillin'.

Wow! What a camp that was! It looks like they all had an amazing time. Fantastic photos. I can't wait for my kids to experience a similar thing here,at Scripture Union camp. Although we won't get the glorious weather your kiddos got!

Looks like she had a great time, except the sickness part. Poor thing. Hope she is feeling better now.
Wow..it's so neat how you got all these cool pics of them! I had the opportunity of going camping in 5th grade and we had fun even though it was only for 1 night. Looks like your daughter had way too much fun...I hope she feels alot better!
I have such wonderful memories of church camp growing up... great times with friends, growing in my walk....glad your kids got to experience it as well. I can only imagine it seemed like they were gone forever for you though!
What a great week! I'm glad the kids get to go to the same camp. That would give me peace of mind knowing siblings were together.
Looks like a GREAT time:-0
Was that Forest Home? Do I recognize that BLOB?
Wow, looks like they had a great time!!!! I have to say that summer camp is the BEST!! For 4 summers in a row, my parents sent me and my sister to sleep-away camp in the Blueridge Mountains in GA for 8 weeks (yes, 8 weeks!!). Those summers were some of the best memories I'll have ever have. Sounds like your kids will also have some of the same wonderful memories as I do!!!
Looks like they did more than survive! It looks like they had a blast! Glad you have your babies back home...
