BUDDIES FOR LIFE!

My two younger boys, Eli (9), and Danny (7), are very close.

I'm not exaggerating when I say that Danny wants to do EVERYTHING Eli does. If Eli's going somewhere, he wants to go too. If Eli decides not to wear gel in his hair, Danny doesn't want to either. It's so funny, and cute at the same time.

I love that he looks up to him, and I'm even more thankful that Eli is such a great influence on Danny. Eli is pretty mellow and level headed, while Danny is my "on the go/fearless" type of guy. It's the perfect balance!

Eli LOVES to dance, and that actually helped Danny come out of his shell to dance in front of other people too (our friends). They even made up their own routine one day!

They are so different, yet have so many things in common.

I just pray that their relationship continues to grow, and stay strong. I'm so glad that all my kids have each other, too. It's just so neat to see how their relationships develop with each other.

The next four pictures are of them at Great America. My sister in law took all my boys there one day. I'm glad she sent these to me.

I know what you mean. Receiver is always doing things that QB does and although sometimes QB gets annoyed, I always say to him - "You know how cool it is that your baby brother looks up to you?" Pretty stinkin cool. May not always see it now, but later in life I just know that they will be the best of friends!

We have the boombox t-shirt too!!! LOL

It is so sweet when siblings are that close. My 3 fight a lot but I know they really love each other:)

You know, you hear so much about sibling rivalry. It's awesome to hear that your boys have such a tight knit relationship. I hope they keep that bond forever!

Your kids always look so huggable! I love the bond of brothers. My boys can fight like champs and love with the biggest hearts. I always tell them that they are best friends and how important it is to be loyal and caring toward each other..I'm rambling...happy Monday girlfriend!

They look the same age to me...not even a 2 year difference. I'm glad the older is a great influence on the other and hopefully, they will always have this bond!

What a great bond between brothers! They could have been twins the way they dress up. =) The last photo is definitely a keeper.

Alicia,

That truly is the greatest thing, when brothers are best friends. Touches the heart of mom for sure, and it will take them so far in life.

Your boys are adorable! What a blessing that they get along so well. I remember when my kids were that age, they fought so much I didn't think they'd ever be close, but now they are all grown up, and closer than I'd ever imagined they would be.

Blessings!

It is hard to have kids so close together, especially when you are pregnat and you have a little toddler that doesn´t even walk yet. But once they first year goes by it is so worth it.

My older two are best friends. And my younger one, athough not as close in age, gets in the little group just as good because after all, there is really not that much different.

If I had to do it all over again, I would.

Isn't it great that they are so close. I want this so much for my boys but I am afraid the age gap is just to big. Even though the little one does follow his brother around.

so, so sweet. And what a good boy Eli is to let his little brother shadow him. A wonderful match is sounds like. This will take them far in life!

What a beautiful gift you gave them when you made them brothers:-)

that is wonderful they get along like that... I always wished for a sister as a kid... I was the oldest with two younger brothers... it was hard to get them to want to do anything with me... heaven forbid their friends found out they played dolls with their sister :o) of course now... my world would not be complete without both my brothers..

That is beautiful to see. Our youngest idolizes the older four and heck if they can't stand her. Breaks my heart how they ignore her simple pleas for love...but one day, I am sure the tables will turn and they will realize what they have in their pesky little sister. :)
Thanks for sharing this part of your life today - it touched mine. :)
BIG hugs,
Bina

This is such a sweet post of your two young sons :o)

I often think how it would have been so awesome to have at least one more boy :o) I would actually have loved more, but we are so thankful and blessed for the three that the Lord blessed us with :o)

And how awesome to have this blog to look back on such special photos and stories such as these!

Blessings & Aloha!
