MOVIE TIME!

Photobucket

This past Friday, I took my three younger kids to the movies to see the new Jackie Chan movie, "The Spy Next Door." If you like Jackie Chan, and all his awesome stunts, this movie will not disappoint. It was cute, and predictable, but I was thankful that there weren't any bad words or sexual innuendos in it.

I love taking them on weekday afternoons because we literally have the place to ourselves. One of the perks of homeschooling!

Getting our popcorn, and Daniel's "must have" hot dog." We always get our candy and soda at 7-Eleven first, and then I stick it in my purse. Yes, my purse is that big! I'm not about to spend $20 just for drinks and candy at the movies.

Can you see my mom in the background? My two older kids did not want to see the movie, so they stayed home and did their schoolwork. They just requested I bring them back some candy.

Don't laugh, but whenever the hubs and I go to the movies, I shove our MCDONALDS in my purse! LOL! My purse fits officially fits two McRib sandwiches, a six piece nugget and a cheeseburger! :-) HAHAHA!

I'm glad to hear that you had such a great time at the movies! Those concession stand prices are so ridiculous, I also bring my own stuff in if I'm going to eat anything at all. I know my boys will want to see this movie too. I agree weekdays are totally the way to go cause then you get your pick of the seats.

Isn't it strange that they charge SO MUCH for snacks? I've been known to sneak in candy but never a drink. Somehow I am just afraid of getting caught.

That sounds like a great time. We just went to see Avatar with my son and his girlfriend last weekend. It was so much fun!

I'm not about to pay movie candy prices either! You can feed the family for the price of box of candy!

Oh my goodness! I can't believe your girls chose to stay home and do schoolwork instead of going to the movies. That's amazing!

Oh we went to see that movie ! it was really cute ! We hit the grocery store before for goodies as well ! We all got goodies for what it would have cost to get maybe two candies at the theater !

The price for snacks and soda at the movies these days is outrageous! I don't know anyone who doesn't sneak snacks in...we always do too. My one thing though is we have to get popcorn at the theater. Movies are just so much more enjoyable with popcorn!

Glad you all liked the movie! Cole and Bella want to see it...Bella just wants to see it because Hannah Montana's dad is in it..LOL

I was also given a chance to review this film too. I did not enjoy as much as his previous films. I also didn't like it when the little boy, Ian, mentioned he watched Playboy.

In the end, my 8 year old LOVED it. But as an adult, I saw things he didn't. Although he did say that the kids had no manners!
