I'm taking you back to Hawaii again! This was in 1994 when I went to go visit my sister!
Her and her roommates took me on a hike at this place called Sacred Falls. I remember that there was a sign before you started the hike that warned you of falling rocks! Oooookay! It was basically an avalanche warning!
Actually, since 1999, this park has been closed due to a tragic landslide. I just googled it, and if you're interested in seeing more pictures of this place and reading the story, click here.
I'm sure most of you have seen the show LOST. Well, it's kind of like walking through something like that! What it is is a 4 mile (back and forth) hike through the mountain, and at the end you come to a fresh water waterfall! Right in the middle of nowhere!
That's me on the left and my sister on the right! I remember there was a tour group walking back, and as we were walking past them, the tour guide said to them, "Let the Polynesian people go first." LOLOLOL!
When you finally reach the waterfall, you just can't wait to jump in! It's beautiful and kinda creepy at the same time! I watched one too many scary movies because all I could think of when I was swimming from the rocks to the waterfall was that some scary monster was going to pull me down!!! On the side of the waterfall, there were big rocks where you could sit down and relax. So awesome!
My sister and I again! I am on the left! And, no, we are not swimming in our birthday suits!

b
At least you weren't wearing Keds like me in Puerto Rico. I bet you could have jumped out of the path of falling rocks in the shoes you were wearing. Kidding! Glad there were no accidents and no monster to take you under.
You tow are just beautiful, awesome smiles. I am loving the waterfalls. GREAT photos!
Have a beautiful weekend! :)
lol. and i totally thought you were in your bday suits.;0)
reminds me of the hawaii full house episdoe when jesse jumps in by the waterfall. that would be so fun to do. although i don't know if i could jump, i think i'd have to have someone gently push me. ;0)
Fabulistic!! What an experience. You and your sister are both beautiful.

I have only swam under a water fall at a water park....lol
That looks like so much fun, I love the water and the sounds it makes. I have not watched Lost but just from the previews I have seen it looks like the perfect setting, and kind of creepy with the monster and all.
HA! That's what I was wondering..is she ne-ked?? LOL
Falling rocks, that would have scared me a bit. Great picture and fun memory!
Oh, now that's beautiful!!!! I would love to go hiking in that environment. :)

Absolutely gorgeous! And it does look like you're swimming all nakey! We'll just have to take your word for it...which we do, but it is still fun to tease you.
I'm glad you qualified that last photo because it surely looks like your skinny dipping! ;) What a lovely place.
Alycia, I have a prayer request, would come come by and pray?!
What a beautiful place! I'm sure it was worth the waterfall swim to walk 8 miles.
Please check your email my friend! I need your help with the next step. Thanks!
That looks so refreshing! A local, huh?
Pictures of the past are great ways of remembering fun times =)
P.S. I live in the PI =)
What beautiful photos and it looks like you had an awesome time. So sad that there was a tragedy there that caused it to be shut down, it looks like a wonderful place to visit. :)

Thanks for posting for me, I was out of town this week. Set it all up ahead of time.. sneaky sneakay...
About Logan and Hannah, yes, we have talked about the what if's, but I have also teased Jodi that if Logan married one of her girls, he would be in big trouble financially. Those girls are carrying around Coach purses already. Lol...
That place is awesome! But, it's too bad it's closed now, and I would be afraid there was something waiting to grab me in the water. It looks a little scary there. He he
Hey, you! Yeah, you Polynesian! I love these pictures! ;-)
LOL, Polynesian, huh? How funny! You and your sister tan so easily! Jealous!! hehe. Beautiful pictures!
