I started "Friday Photo Flashback" because I have so many pictures from my PRE-digital camera days. I thought it would be fun to scan them and share them here with you. I'm having so much fun doing this, that I would love for you to join me, too! So dig out the photo albums and put your scanner to good use! Just sign in to Mr. Linky so we can all visit and comment on each others blogs!
This was back in 1995 when my sister (in the middle with the denim top dress) was visiting us from Hawaii. Her son was only a couple of months old, so her friends decided to throw her a baby shower! What's great about this photo is that is represents friendships that go even further back than 1995. Everyone here has been friends for 20+ years, but my sisters oldest friend is the one I'm sitting next to. By the way, in case you didn't know which one I am, I'm the one holding my nephew! Anyway, the girl next to me has been friends with my sister since they were in 2nd grade...1974!!! In fact, I just saw her a few months ago when my sister was here visiting. OH..lol, and they're all on Facebook too! Ha!
I think friendships like these are priceless! Can you imagine all the memories they have together? My friend on the far left (I posted about her on here before) and I go back to 1984, and our friendship remains the same till this day. We can go for months without talking and then pick up right where we left off! I'm so thankful for the history I have with my childhood friends!

Wow, I love it!
Friendship is one of the greatest treasures that we can have!
This is a Beautiful Picture!
Have a Lovely Friday my Beautiful Friend!
Thanks for stopping by. It's funny how Memory Lane & Friday Flashback photo's bring out pictures of old friends.
Great friend you have. It is nice that we can pick up where we left off even when we don't see each other very often. God has made friendship such a special thing.
Take care
Nannette
what a great idea ... i have so many pre digital photos and keep thinking I need to start scanning them all!
I love the stories you post along with your pictures! What a wonderful group of friends you have!!! One of my oldest friends and I are the same way as you and your friend....sometimes we can months without touching base but then when we finally do, it's like no time has passed.
Do you have a stat counter? If you do, you can go to "keyword analysis" and it'll tell you which words/phrases people are typing in to their search engine that brings them to your blog!
What a lot of sweet memories in one photo!
That is so cool. I know that I have friends like that too. They truly are gold! Have a great holiday and blessings!
i always get them matching shirts fromold navy on the 4th kinda corny but buy them way in advance and they are so darn cute..
What a wonderful photo!! :) I like how you can see everyone's smiling face -- I remember those predigital days where I always took 2 pictures to be sure everyone's eyes are open! Have a Happy Fourth!
What a beautiful group of women you are!
That's what I love about old friendships. You just pick up where you left off and it's like you were never apart!
Sweet picture Alicia! I should have known you would have had that baby in your arms. :o)
My BFF and I have been friends since kindergarten but there was a period of about 15 years where we lost touch due to us both moving away. I found her through Myspace 3 years ago and we resumed almost as if we hadn't missed one day.
Good friends are definitely hard to find. You and your sisters are very, very lucky! Love the picture!
You post the BEST stories along with you friday flashback photo's. Love it - Hope your beautiful family has a great 4th of July weekend.
That is a nice looking group;)

Old friends are the best!
What a great memory...and what great friends!
That it such a great photo! You look so pretty :D
I still have friends from the 70's too. I love looking back on those times. Friends like that are like family.
Thanks for hosting!
Ooooh denim was so IN and so all of the time!!!
Great picture. I know what you mean, I have a friend like that too. That's when you know you are true friends. You don't have to talk to each other every day because you know she is there if you need her and vise versa.
No problem on linking. I had it scheduled. I have the next two Fridays done too. I'll be gone, so it would be awesome if you would do it then too. : )
Alicia,
This pic is great! And I'm still so into denim! lol
Happy Friday and may you have a safe and blessed July 4th!
Love ya bunches!
What a great idea to scan in your old photos! When my grandpa died recently we discovered some childhood pictures of us that we had never seen. We scanned them all and shared them around. It was wonderful!
Those connections are fantastic...I am so glad you have them. Love the picture and you reminded me that I always wore black pantihose or tights with my skirts. You look so cute. Everyone seemed to dress to coordinate...I guess that happens when you know people for that long.
Aaaw! I love this picture and this post. Friendships are so important, and when they last that long, they really are priceless!
Beautiful picture and memories!
I finally linked up. Forgot to this morning. I was gone all day.
What a wonderful look back.
It truly is special to have a close knit group of friends like that. It is priceless.
Hope you have a Happy 4th of July weekend :) ♥ HUGS ♥
