CHRISTMAS OVER ALREADY?

Wow..Christmas came...and went! All the worrying and stress that can come with this holiday isn't worth it once it's over. The kids don't even realize it, and at the end of the day, they end up playing with one or maybe two of their favorite things. I'll have to keep a mental note for next year!

In the hustle and bustle of them opening gifts, can you imagine how hard it is to have them STOP for a second or two so I can take a picture of them? Yah, right! I was only able to get these shots because we let them open one gift on Christmas Eve. Forget Christmas morning. I had to video tape them instead! And can you believe I don't have my oldest daughter in any of the pictures? Crazy, I tell ya!

So, here are some of the "still" shots that I was able to manage!

Danny excited that he got Bionicle's from my sis in-law!

This is funny. The ONE gift Eli chose to open was his box of tape that he requested from my sis in-law! Remember, he's our future architect. He's always making something with tape and paper!

Yay...one of her favorite movies!!

Isaiah trying to decide should he open one now or tomorrow morning?

And some of the mess the next morning!

Is it like this at your house too?

LOL about the tape...too funny. Only 364 more days, right?

I know it sucks how fast it is over once it starts. All that waiting and preparing and BOOM gone in a split second.

My children open fast but they do play with EVERYTHING all day long so they do enjoy all their gifts.

I love it...that's EXACTLY what our house looked like too on Christmas morning!!

I really should've gotten my kids a package of tape too...they use mine up all the time!!

Hope you all have a happy New Year!

Looks like y'all had a wonderful Christmas. The tape is too funny! Last year, my then 9 year old was beside himself because his grandma got him an adding machine with extra rolls of paper. She had one at her business and every time he was there, he wanted to play with it so she bought him his own. HAHA!

Hope you have a very blessed New Year! :)

Looks like y'all had a wonderful celebration!

I can't even imagine all of the paper and clean-up from your gang. We are still finding paper tucked away here and there and we only have a family of 3 (for now!) Glad you all had a Merry Christmas! It snowed here in SC and that made it even more memorable. Enjoy the rest of your break! :) Lana

How Fun!!
I also like the movie `Despicable Me`

We are actually a lot neater at our house..LOL

We open one present on Christmas Eve.
Everyone taking their turn, youngest to oldest.

Then Christmas morning we go from youngest to oldest opening presents and making sure all paper is put in the recycle box before we move on :)

I was not aloud to take a picture for every little thing this year, process of opening presents, picture with each present, etc. I was only aloud to take one or two pictures after the present was open and they were holding only one or two presents. LOL

We did have a wonderful and white Christmas. Looks like your family had a wonderful Christmas too.

You son with the tape is too cute - yeah, it was like that at my house too. Except I like to clean up as I open gifts so it's easy to pack everything up. :)

It's totally like that at our house too. I never get good shots because of the chaos and someone always seems to be in the way. I get a lot of back and butts, lol.

Thanks for stopping by! I meant to stop by and leave you a Merry Christmas note, but it went so quickly and I've stayed off the computer mostly to enjoy my family.

Looks like you all had fun. All the best to you in 2011. May the year be filled with many blessings for your family.

Funny.... ours goes on and on. We open one gift at a time. Take potty and snack breaks just to make it last! The kids love it!
