IT'S A SMALL WORLD AFTERALL...

Okay..where do I begin????

Yesterday, one of my new bloggy friends, (Mama's Smitten) and I just realized that we are both from California! I gave her the general area where I was from just so she could get an idea where I lived. Who knows, she could live right by me, right? Well, she wrote me back and told me that we're probably an hour away from each other. That got me curious so I told her to email me privately so we could share exactly where we lived. So, sure enough, she is about an hour from me..LOL. (There's also another gal I met in blog land (Wasted Textbooks) who also does not live that far from me either, and Lord willing we'll be able to hook up soon!) Well, check this out! Mama's Smitten writes me back again and tells me that as she was looking through some of my old posts, she sees HER COUSIN on my blog (who is my oldest daughters friend)!! Well, I'm totally tripping out because her aunt and I are really good friends!! In fact, she is one of the ladies I go walking with after church on Sunday nights!!! Isn't that so trippy???? I cannot wait to call my friend and tell her all of this!! I really believe in six degrees of separation! Have any of you ladies had experiences like this yet, in blogland?

I'm part of an online group that I joined when I was pregnant with Kendra, and I've met a few girls from there cause they live in the area, but none of my bloggy friends and I have met in person yet.

Isn't that the neatest thing ~ six degrees of seperation!! Kind of scary at times! Yes actually this has happened to me! Recently I found a blogger who cracks me up. I found out we were in the same town. THEN while reading a post with a picture of her daughter at school I thought wow that looks like my son's school. Sure enough it was. Our 1st grader goes to school with her 5th grader THEN we also found out our 9th graders go to school together also and we live within minutes of each other! Too funny~definitely a small world after all!

It really is a small world - I love it! There was a fellow blogger from Maputo Mozambique whose home base in the US is right down the road from ours here in Oregon - population a couple hundred.

I have yet to have an experience like this in blogland, but that is so coll that you guys are connected and you live close. I keep saying all of the ATL bloggers need to get together and do a regional thing.

I had an online friend for quite sometime and one day she asked how I knew some people she saw that I was connected to. When I told her that they had been pastors of my aunts church twenty years ago she replied that they were her pastors twenty years ago too. Turns out that she and my aunt were long, lost friends that were able to reconnect, and I'd even met her once as a child.
