THANKFUL THURSDAY

Today I'm linking up with Sonya @ Truth 4 The Journey for "Thankful Thursday." All you need to do is list five things that you're thankful for this week! If you want to participate, just visit her blog and link up!

This week, I am thankful for...

1. My kids being compliant with our new school schedule. I am staying consistent, and I already see the benefits of doing so.

2. Friendships. Old and new.

3. Supernanny! Not that she's come here, but I've recently watched her show on abc.com, and after seeing one episode, it made me appreciate my children that much more!

4. Even when I fall short with my kids, whether I'm yelling or being impatient, they love me unconditionally.

5. Being able to bond with my kids individually. Because we have five children, quality time with each one is not always so easy. I'm thankful for the times I get to be with them one on one.

Those are beautiful things to give thanks for, you're children are blessed to have a Mom who values each one of them individually and desires to have that one-on-one time and relationship. Sadly, I see so much of the opposite out in our world today. You are a precious gift to your home Alicia.
The nanny was was cute too!!! LOL

I totally laughed at your Supernanny comment because I do that all the time too! I'll watch it, looking for some fresh ideas for discipline, and then I end up being thankful that my kids are not that horrible compared to the kids on the show! I saw one kid who spit in his mother's face on purpose and then he called her a b**ch. Could NOT believe it!!

I know it must take a lot of hard work to get time alone with each one, so I 'm sure they appreciate it! :)

It's true. If ever you're feeling like your kids are a handful, just look at somebody else's and you remember how wonderful your own are. ;)

You are so right! Anytime I think my kids are wild and horribly behaved all I have to do is watch one episode of Supernanny and my mind is changed >:)
