Homeschool Field Trip Day!! YUMMY!

What a LONG day we've had! It started by us getting up at 7am to get ready for our field trip to In N' Out Burger. Most of you have probably never heard of it since it is only in four states. They do FREE field trips, so I'm all game for those kinds of deals!! My kids love In N' Out so I knew they would get up early for that! Just like any restaurant tour, we all got to go in the back, and get all the "behind the scenes" information. What I like most about it (besides how fresh it is), is that it was started by a Christian family. You will find scriptures on the bottom of the cups and on the french fry boxes. I can only imagine how many people have read them, and that be the first seed planted in their life!! Anyway, we all ate burgers, fries, soda, & shakes before 10am!! Afterward, we went to my mom's to visit with her. In fact, my two older kids stayed and I will pick them up later. Now, I finally get to catch up on all my bloggy friends!!

Do they still look half asleep? LOL
Getting ready to check things out in the back!
Two lines kids...two lines!
They did not like the smell of all the potatoes in the back!
"So, how are you doing?"
Of course, my son can't leave home w/out his PSP!!
Yummy!

You are right girly, the last time I saw an In and Out was in 1988 as we were leaving Mission Veijo, CA. We lived there for 10 years. my parents planted a church out there.

Yep, never heard of an In and Out. But I do love these kind of field trips. We do one to the local Pizza Hut where the kids get to make their own personal pan pizza. They have a great time!

Hey, I hope you don't mind...I used your idea on putting my kids on the side bar with words that best describe them. I thought it was brilliant! I hope it's ok...I guess I should've asked first.
Hope your day was blessed! :)

Alicia,

My hubby was born in Hollywood, CA and I met him in Los Angeles, CA and we married in Santa Barbara, CA...we have definitely heard of In & Out Burger! Yummy!

However, I have to tell you...I think Texas and the Whataburger still has my heart! LOL

What a great thing that they do field trips for the kids though...great idea!!

Hugs to you!

Oh, what a FUN field trip! I loved reading that they print scriptures on their cups and french fry boxes. Pretty awesome! I've never heard of 'em though. What a neat neat trip!

What a neat thing, that restaurant could say they have two kinds of meat. The physical and spiritual food, awesome pictures looks like a lot of fun.

I've never even heard of this yummy food joint. Wish I lived near one now! :) I loved all the pics, especially the stare step one when you line them all up tallest to smallest. I do that all the time. You have such beautiful kids. xo Ang

What state are you living in with an In and Out? I'm visiting family in California and I am LOVING In and Out! I wish we had one back in FL :( I didn't notice the Bible verses on the drinks or the fries.. now I want to go back just to read them, hehe.
