WORD FILLED WEDNESDAY

I love this verse! I always need to remind myself that I need to apply this to my life each day. I feel this verse speaks volumes especially now with the election being over. I'm not one to get over political, but I'm sure there are people out there who are upset about our new President. The bible says we still need to pray for people who have authority over us.

1Timothy 2:1-3
Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior

Ultimately, God has and always will be in control. This is a part of His plan, and we just have to trust in HIM that all things are going to work out for His glory. So, even in our personal lives when things don't seem to go "our way" or there is one trial after another. We should always keep our focus on Jesus!!

You know, we were just talking about this last night. We have the president that we were meant to have otherwise, the other guy would have won. I really see it that way.

Well said! God is ultimately in control. Our trust should be in Him and not the president. Have a great Wednesday, my friend!

Alicia,

This verse has been one that I have stood on and behind since the day I accepted Jesus 3.5 yrs ago.

He is the same, today and forevermore! AMEN!

What a beautiful photo to go with the verse.

Blessings,
Jill
